For RENAC – Renewables Academy, together with the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and its international climate initiative TREE (Transfer Renewable Energy & Efficiency), ROBOT developed a comprehensive communications platform designed to support global knowledge transfer in the field of renewable energy.
The objective was ambitious: attract engineers, technical experts, and decision-makers from developing countries to participate in a training program in Berlin, where they would gain hands-on knowledge of renewable energy technologies and energy-efficiency solutions. As demand for qualified professionals in the renewable energy sector continues to grow worldwide, the program aimed to equip participants with the expertise needed to drive sustainable development in their home countries.
ROBOT created the complete communications package, including a clear and scalable design architecture, an international recruitment campaign, press materials, image and program brochures, trade fair assets, and a range of supporting communication measures. To ensure that knowledge transfer continued beyond the training period itself, ROBOT also developed an online platform that enabled participants to access seminar content and customize communication materials for use in their local markets and initiatives.
The results exceeded expectations. Within a short period, the recruitment campaign generated more than 850 applications from around the world — significantly more than the number of places available. The program was successfully implemented and became a powerful example of how strategic communication can help accelerate the global adoption of sustainable technologies.
