How do you advertise the advertising medium itself? By creating a campaign that does exactly what great outdoor advertising has always done: make things bigger, more visible, and impossible to ignore. To showcase the power of its medium, Koschwitz, one of Berlin’s leading outdoor advertising companies, commissioned ROBOT to develop a campaign that would communicate the impact of large-format billboards in a bold and memorable way.
Our solution was a series of three striking visuals built around a simple truth: on Koschwitz billboards, everything comes out big. Whether it was a running shoe, a tube of toothpaste, or a grilled sausage, everyday objects were transformed into oversized heroes of their own stories. This playful shift in perspective made the message instantly understandable while demonstrating the unique strength of out-of-home advertising: if you want to be seen, you need room to stand out.
The campaign was rolled out across large-format billboards throughout Berlin, turning the medium itself into the star of the communication. Through powerful imagery, a clear message, and a healthy dose of humor, the campaign brought the reach and effectiveness of outdoor advertising to life in a way that was both entertaining and persuasive.
The result was a campaign that not only generated attention but also strengthened Koschwitz’s reputation as a creative and high-impact outdoor advertising partner. Because sometimes a great idea is all it takes to show just how big a medium can be.
